Standing in stately splendor among the beautifully restored homes of Newport's historic point district, The Nina Lynette Home offers a magnificent setting in which to live and enjoy retirement life.

The Residence has been in operation since 1905 and has gained a reputation for its “gracious living concept” by providing services which include three meals served in the grand dining room which is especially furnished to provide a relaxing setting for the enjoyment of food, drink and lively conversations, impeccable housekeeping services, paid utilities (excluding cable) and other amenities such as a comfortable parlor for reading or visiting and a gracious porch facing the harbor.

We encourage our residents to enjoy our outdoor area with visitors on the lawn and the bench among the flower garden. Within a short walk from our residence there are three parks overlooking the water with easy access to swimming areas in the bay. A brief stroll leads to the center of Newport to enjoy all that America's First Resort has to offer: fine dining, local vendors and plenty of art.

Throughout the year, the Point neighborhood and waterfront are home to an unsurpassing variety of experiences; fishing, sailing, concerts and Christmas in Newport to name a few.

From its inception, The Nina Lynette Residence has operated as a non-profit living space for the mature (60+) adult. It offers family-oriented room and board for independent men and women who do not require medical assistance.

We offer comfortable living accommodations in a non-institutional environment. Our modest costs appeal to those who plan to reside with us for the long term. We offer private rooms each with their own shower in both single and suite configurations designed to accommodate your own furnishings.

The administrator resides on the premises and is available to take care of any special situations should they arise.
